Because a change in your eyelashes could be a sign of a serious health issue, it’s important to schedule a consultation with a dermatologist if you are experiencing sudden loss of or changes to your lashes. LATISSE®: LATISSE® is a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough lashes) to grow eyelashes longer, fuller, darker. Results may vary from eye to eye. There may be differences in eyelash length, thickness, fullness, pigmentation (darkness), number of eyelash hairs or the direction of eyelashes. If you experience any of these variations in your lashes, they will usually go away once you stop using LATISSE®.
Tinting: Tinting is a procedure for darkening hair, typically the hair of the eyebrows or eyelashes. During the tinting procedure, a small applicator, such as a q-tip, is used to apply the dye. Tinting will leave your lashes darker for up to several weeks.
