Comprehensive Dermatology & Vein Care Services
Our team provides a variety of dermatology, aesthetic, and vein care services to help patients achieve healthier skin and greater confidence.
Services offered at Universal Dermatology & Vein Care include:
- Medical Dermatology: Skin cancer screenings, acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, and other skin conditions.
- Skin Cancer & Surgical Dermatology: Skin cancer diagnosis, treatment, and dermatologic procedures.
- Cosmetic Dermatology: Neurotoxins (wrinkle relaxers such as Dysport and Letybo), dermal fillers, and injectable aesthetic treatments.
- Advanced Skin Treatments: Chemical peels, microneedling, and other skin rejuvenation services.
- Vein Care: Evaluation and treatment of spider veins and varicose veins, including ultrasound services and sclerotherapy.
- Aesthetic Services: Customized skincare treatments and professional skincare solutions.

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work closely with our providers to deliver exceptional patient care, manage day-to-day clinical flow, and handle essential administrative duties. The ideal candidate brings hands-on clinical experience, strong EMR proficiency, and a warm, empathetic bedside manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Intake & Care: Room patients and record accurate medical histories and chief complaints.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with physical examinations, minor in-office procedures, and specimen collection.
- EMR & Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and notes in our Electronic Health Record (EHR/EMR) system.
- Administrative Duties: Handle prescription refills, coordinate specialist referrals, call patients with pathology results, and answer routine patient phone calls.
- Compliance & Environment: Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized, while strictly adhering to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Required minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical, ambulatory, or specialty practice setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with EMR/EHR software and basic office applications.
- Soft Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a compassionate approach to patient service.
