Universal Dermatology is the best I've encountered the past 20 years. Excellent people and skills! I very much dislike some of the negative comments I have read and we are Lucky to have such a talented team in our community. Thank!! And I would encourage anyone needing Dermatology work to make an appointment with Universal and you will be happy you did.

I went to Universal Dermatology and Vein Care for a full body skin cancer screening. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, and the check-in process was simple. I paid up front and was taken to an exam room within a few minutes. I took away a star for two reasons. First, the exam room had windows in front of which I had to undress and be examined. They were covered in a material which only slightly blurred the view from my perspective. I know these people see naked bodies all day long, but I was extremely uncomfortable. Second, the appointment felt incomplete and rushed. The nurse clarified that I was in for a full body exam. The nurse practitioner looked over the moles I felt were worth mentioning. She was kind and informative about those. She briefly looked over most of rest of my body, but did not (as far as I could tell) check my scalp, the front of my legs, the tops of my feet, or between my toes. I wish I had spoken up at the time, but it all happened so fast that I was in the parking lot before I realized how I felt. (A lifetime of grooming and abuse makes it hard for me understand and voice my needs). Also, it was my first appointment of that nature. Perhaps this is typical? I have no idea. All I can say is that I left feeling rushed and disappointed.
